RUGA: Why Fulani Herdsmen Should Stay In Igboland, Anywhere – Sen. Uzodinma

RUGA: Nigerian Army To Start Cattle Ranches Across Nigeria

Fulani herdsmen should stay in any part of the country as the President Muhammadu Buhari government will protect them, according to Senator Hope Uzodinma.

Concise News understands that Uzodinma was the Imo State governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 election.

He spoke recently at a town hall meeting in his Omuma country home in Imo State where he also called on leaders to stop inflammatory statements.

Also, he urged Igbo in the northern part of the country not to return to back to the South-East.

He said “we all must believe in the ability of our President, a general in the army, to find solution to the challenges.”

According to him, “I have the full confidence that the Federal Government has both the will and might to secure the lives and properties of Nigerians everywhere in the land.”

He further urged Ndigbo nationwide not to panic and to go about their normal businesses “because I know that our security is guaranteed.”

The federal government recently suspended the Rural Grazing Area (RUGA) meant to curb clashes between herdsmen and farmers following claims that it will “Fulanize” the country.
