2019 AFCON: Five Major Issues From Super Eagles Outing

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Wednesday beat Tunisia to win their eighth bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.

Tournament’s leading scorer Odion Ighalo netted Nigeria’s lone goal in the clash with the Carthage Eagles in the second minute but limped off the pitch before half time.

This was the first time Nigeria will be playing at the continental soccer fiesta since they won it in 2013 in South Africa when led by the late Stephen Keshi.

Concise News learned that with the win, the West Africans have now clinched eight bronze medals at the AFCON.
