The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo last Friday met with two N-Power beneficiaries, Harriet Azurundu and Mary James, who used their monthly stipends to personally equip their Place of Primary Assignment, Otokutu Primary Health Care Centre in Ughelli South, Delta State.
Concise News reports that the duo furnished the laboratory of the Health Care Centre to the tune of N100, 000.
Prof. Osinbajo was in Delta on a state visit and to also commission some projects. He made the meeting with the two outstanding beneficiaries his first stop.
The scheme currently engages no fewer than 500,000 youth graduates deployed to provide public health services in teaching, health, agriculture and tax and monitoring.
Each beneficiary is entitled to a monthly stipend of N30, 000.
N-Power also engages another 200,000 non-graduates in training or on attachment to organisations as interns.
