Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile has applauded some children for dancing to ‘soapy’routine, a song released by his colleague Naira Marley

Concise news reports that Zlatan, in a video he shared on his Instagram page was seen in traffic giving out some money to the children as they sang and danced to songs his singles which have been making waves on the streets.

He then goes ahead to share ‘mint’ thousand Naira notes to the kids who were actually dancing in the rain before leaving them.

Recall that the Soapy dance has generated criticisms on social media.

Choreographer, Kaffy earlier described the dance as disgusting in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Reacting to Kaffy’s comment, the fast rising singer in a live video on Instagram said Kaffy was no longer the queen of dance in Nigeria and that she belongs to the past generation which is why she is not even getting jobs because there are younger and better dancers in town.

Also, Prison care advocate and musician, Yinka Lawanson, better known as Lamboginny, said Naira Marley’s new song and dance “mocks the real struggles of prisoners.

‘Soapy’ is Naira Marley’s first single since he was released on bail from prison and its video on YouTube has gained over 266,000 views.
