The lawmaker representing Adamawa-North senatorial district, Senator Elisha Abbo, has confirmed that he was indeed the man in a viral video who was seen beating up a lady in a sex toy. First reported by Premium Times, the assault has sparked outrage with many Nigerians calling for his prosecution and urging the Senate to also discipline him.

8. COZA: PFN Finally Reacts To Rape Allegation Against Fatoyinbo

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has said​ that it would not shield pentecostal pastors who take undue advantage of their congregants. PFN President, Rev. Felix Omobude, made this known in a statement on Tuesday in Benin, the Edo State capital.

9. Makinde Declares Oyo ‘Technically Bankrupt’

The Governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde on Tuesday said the state was technically impoverished. Makinde stated this while receiving in audience members of the Governing Council of the University of Ibadan, led by the Pro-Chancellor of the institution and Chairman of Council, Dr Waklek Mutka, who were on a courtesy visit to his office in Ibadan.
