AFCON 2019: Agbim Backs Rohr’s Choice Of Akpeyi As Eagles No. 1

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim has backed Daniel Akpeyi to become the team’s first choice goalkeeper when the 2019 AFCON kicks off in Egypt.

Agbim told brila.net that Akpeyi has what it takes to mount the sticks for Nigeria at the Nation’s Cup.

”Genort Rhor to use Daniel Akpeyi is a good one, Akpeyi has stayed with the coach right from the appointment of the coach to handle the country’s national team,” he said.

“I believe if given the mantle to mount the post at this upcoming AFCON, he will do the country proud in Egypt because he is a good goalkeeper.”
