Super Falcons’ forward, Asisat Oshoala has been nominated for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the week, J25 in the Primera Division.
Concise News reports that with five goals in five games, including the decisive opener in FCB Femeni win at Atleti Femenino, former African footballer of the year, Oshoala gets recognition in the Spanish league.
The 24-year-old will battle it out with Yaiza Relea Romo and Jade Boho Sayo.

Meanwhile, it has emerged Oshoala sustained an injury in the crucial win over Atletico on Sunday. However, she maintains she will be back even stronger.
The Ikorodu-born athlete writes on her Twitter handle: “Tough for me to take but I will be back soon, stronger and even better.”
