Borussia Dortmund vs Tottenham: Champions League Possible Line-Ups (Daily express)

Tottenham Hotspur will make a late decision on the fitness of midfield duo Eric Dier and Harry Winks, ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund tonight.

Concise News reports that Winks missed Saturday’s north London derby draw with Arsenal because of a hip injury, while Dier has been out since the start of February because of illness.

That meant Victor Wanyama had to make his first start since November in midfield alongside Moussa Sissoko, and the pair were largely overrun.

Both Winks and Dier have travelled with the squad to Dortmund for the second leg of the last-16 tie which Spurs lead 3-0, and Mauricio Pochettino says they would be assessed after training in Germany.

Kieran Trippier has been rested and has not travelled with the squad, while Dele Alli is back in training but is not yet fully fit to be involved and has also stayed in London.

Dortmund captain, Marco Reus missed the first-leg loss with a thigh problem, though will be fit for the return fixture after making his comeback with a 66-minute showing against Augsburg at SGL Arena.

Future Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic did not play in that Bundesliga defeat after suffering his own thigh injury at Wembley, but is back in first-team training and should also be available.

Marcel Schmelzer sustained a knock to his foot in training on Thursday and Lukasz Piszczek remains sidelined with a heel issue.

Possible line-up

Dortmund: Roman Bürki; Wolf, Manuel Akanji, Zagadou, Diallo; Thomas Delaney, Axel Witsel, Reus, Guerreiro, Jadon Sancho; Mario Götze
Out: Łukasz Piszczek (foot)
Doubtful: Pulišić (muscle)

Tottenham: Hugo Lloris; Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sánchez, Jan Vertonghen; Serge Aurier, Davies, Sissoko, Danny Rose; Christian Eriksen; Son, Harry Kane
Out: Alli (hamstring)
Doubtful: Dier (illness), Winks (hip)
