The Gabonese switched to the Emirates from Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday in a deal valued at £55 million.
And while speaking on his first interview, the 28-year-old Gabon striker who signed a contract with the Arsene Wenger’s team until 2021, said Arsenal is a club with a “big history.”
“I think the club has such a big history and great players like Thierry Henry,” he told Arsena.com
“He’s an example for us strikers.”
In addition, he noted that he is “a fast player and I score goals too, like Henry a little bit,” said Aubameyang.
“But as I said, I have to work a lot more.”
Auba scored 141 goals for Dortmund since moving there in 2013.
