Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected in London on Tuesday to undergo medicals ahead of his move to Arsenal.
The Borussia Dortmund forward agreed a deal with the North Londoners on Monday as he inches closer to a 55million pounds switch.
Dortmund are seeking replacement for the striker before they finally sanction the move.
According to reports in Germany, the Bundesliga team are close to landing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on a six-month loan deal.
They are also touted to be seeking a swap deal for Olivier Giroud.
With the German transfer window closing midday on Wednesday, the Bundesliga club are expected to bring in one of the two strikers and give Aubameyang permission to leave.
The Gabonese skipper will become Arsenal’s record signing as well as the highest-paid player in their history if the deal pulls through.
