His son, Bolaji Adeniji broke the news on facebook this morning in a facebook post titled END OF AN ERA.

“I was with him yesterday afternoon but never knew our discussion was a valedictory one,” Bolaji wrote.

“Baba Computer (as you’re fondly called), your reputation precedes you and we shall remain proud of your academic, social, political and moral legacies. Farewell, the Agbaakin of Ota and convey my deepest love to Deaconess in the celestial realms,” Bolaji added.

Born 1937, Roqeeb Adeniji emerged as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, April 2014. Party faithfuls elected him at the party’s congress in Abeokuta.
