At least 150 Nigerians have reportedly returned from Libya, where illegal African migrants are being sold as slaves.

The returnees include children and women.

They were said to have arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Thursday night.

Their return followed President Muhammadu Buhari’s promise of bringing back home all Nigerians stranded in Libya as well as other parts of the world and rehabilitate them.

And the Nigerian Senate had on Wednesday expressed sadness over the reported sale of Nigerian migrants in Libya, saying it was a slap on the face of Nigeria.
