Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has admitted that Bukayo Saka may not play for the team due to issues with paper work, Concise News reports.

Saka, 18 has played 10 times for the North London side and scored his maiden goal this term as the Gunners trounced Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 in the Europa League.

Also, the youngster provided an assist for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s equalizer in Arsenal’s draw with Manchester United on Monday at the Old Trafford.

Although the player has shown interest in featuring for the 2013 African champions, paper works might make that dream a mirage.

“On Bukayo Saka of Arsenal, it is not easy to invite players who has played already for England or other countries in the U-17, U-18 and U-20 categories,” Rohr said.

“It is very tedious and requires long processes to do so. I could remember that it took us one year before Ola Aina’s issue was resolved before he was cleared by FIFA and was eligible to play for us (Super Eagles).”

England Snatch Abraham, Tomori

Meanwhile, England have finally extended invitations to Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori for their upcoming qualifiers amidst interest from Nigeria for the youngsters.

Both players who have been in fine form this season had represented England at the youth level but were still eligible to play for Nigeria where their parents come from.

The performance of both players for Frank Lampard’s team so far this season has resulted in both countries fighting for their allegiance in international football.

It appears now England have won that battle with this call-up. If both players get fielded in any of the Three Lions’ upcoming European Qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria, it will automatically be the end for Nigeria’s hope of having the in the Super Eagles Team.

The Chelsea pair’s invitation also mean that out of form Tottenham’s Dele Alli has been left out of the England squad.

Alli, who himself was also courted by Nigeria to play for the Eagles before he opted for the English team has made four appearances for Tottenham this season since returning from a hamstring injury but misses out on Gareth Southgate.
